2016 Gamecock Sailing Fleet

Our fleet this year consists of eight 420s that Columbia Sailing Club owns but allows us to use for practice. Five of our 420s were purchased from Lake Norman Yacht Club in the past year. One was purchased from Annapolis, where two of our team members drove there and back in one day to pick the boat up (and had some fun in DC on the way back!). The other two have been at Columbia Sailing Club for a while.

The Keelboat team practices on a J24 called Winsome that Jim Gray has graciously lent us. The team also practices on a U20 called Running With Scissors that Steve Rose owns and helps us practice on.
