A Different Kind of Easter Celebration
This past weekend nine of our Gamecock sailors participated in the 50th Annual Easter Regatta hosted by Columbia Sailing Club, where J24, J70, and U20 sailors arrived to compete in the three day event. The team fielded Gamecock sailors in both the U20 and J24 fleets, with two boats registered and sailed entirely by Gamecock Sailing. Met with breezy conditions Friday with wind steadily shifting S-SW, all fleets saw three completed races on a traditional windward-leeward course

A Riveting Regatta in Tennessee!

As a whole, we tied for 5th with UNCW resulting in a

The night before racing we had the opportunity to talk to other teams about attending our invitational and although some have prior commitments there is some great energy around it with a han

Charleston Women's Regatta
A handful of wonderful ladies from Gamecock Sailing were able to attend Charleston Women's regatta hosted at College of Charleston. We were up against 13 talented teams ranging from northern teams like MIT and URI, as well as a few teams from SAISA such as NC State and Eckerd. Margaux Bacro-Duverger and Meriwether Roberts sailed in A fleet and kicked off the first race of the day with a respectable 7th place in 420s. B fleet’s best race was an 8th, skippered by Kate O’Donnell
