Reestablished in 2012, University of South Carolina's Gamecock Sailing Club, is a student-run sports club dedicated to furthering the sport of sailing throughout the collegiate community. Gamecock Sailing Club consists of an all-inclusive club for students with any experience level as well as a competitive racing team. Gamecock Sailing Club joined ICSA as part of the SAISA conference in Fall of 2014 and competes in collegiate regattas throughout the academic year. Gamecock Sailing Club is based out of Columbia Sailing Club on Lake Murray.
